Hi, people.

I'm testing the hair/fur system of Carrara. Here's a new attempt to create a nice image:

Cheers!

Thank you all for your nice comments. I'm a big fan of Mox, Sadot, Aunt Betty works and -ash- with his amazing landscapes. Thank you behzad for being allways a nice person and mi2mi for the complement!

I'm triyng another type of fur, and made an update in a "old friend". Some years ago I modelled this griffon. Now it's time for fur:

Thank you!

Excellent render!

I would have made the bottom half more shadowy, but I'm a sinister kind of guy.

Love the wing span and almost SSS effect.

Shiny

Thanks, folks! I'm trying to animate that scene, let's see what we can get.

Sadot, as Grendel says, you can find the "Making Of" at the 3DCreative magazine, 030 issue, february 08 edition (I think...).
But you also find the same and other tutorials at 3D Brasil forum, just look for the threads started by me and enjoy it:

http://3dbrasil.art.br/index.php?board=98.0

Here you can see some WIPs and wires of other projects:

http://3dbrasil.art.br/index.php?board=52.0

Just sorry, all tutorials are in protuguese.

I'd like to say thanks to Marcelo Teixeira (a.k.a. GKDantas - the forum owner) for create the first brazilian - maybe south american - forum with an exclusive area for Carrara's users.

More furry creatures.

I'm having some trouble to create some gray hair, apparently the brown hair is more easy to setup. This Werewolf's fur was create using a bitmap texture for density map:

I forgot to say thanks to behzad, for send me some Carrara tips. My knowledge about this app is higher thanks to him.

Regards!
