Modo 301 was used for the modeling and sculpting of the spires i was trying for that Mojo World feel to the image .The terrain and displacement map was made in Carrara 5 Pro. Rendered in Carrara a fun short project . I got a bit lazy, i usually don't pic and download models off the web but this moon base seemed pretty nice

I like it very much! It looks like Carrara 5 - even if a bit aged - can produce pretty nice results! :-)

Nice work. Though I think I would have pulled the camera round a bit to avoid cutting off the edge of the moon base. Would look great with a moon buggy too

Did you model the rocks in modo as well?

I gather that, still, some workings of Carrara are good compared to Modo at this point.

I swear one of those rock clusters is wearing a top hat.

You know guys the more i look at the spire i do admit it does resemble a top hat !!!!! That will teach me to indulge in Merlot and model at the same time !
