Quake Container & Sci-Fi Weaponry

Here is a quick container from Quake I used to show my brother simple modeling of an object and uv texturing applying images.

Not too much polygons for a real time mesh (I think of the big chamfer)

Here is the wireframe overlay. I did not really try to do low poly....just what I needed for the form, I would do the handles in a different manner. I was showing him the difference between hard edges using no smoothing(everything) and hard edges using smoothing(the side handles).

Yes, I would definitely dissolve some edges for a game. But it's a good example of using simple geometry and adding lits of "details" in the texture.

The container was from quake concept art found at www.autodestruct.com and the BFG is from the game and also seen in the movie for Doom.
