Hi Wim and Piem,

Thanks - I understand it! (BTW Did not know these slicing and edging tools when I started with the dolphin!)

Obviously I am a beginner and will make loads of mistakes. But how do you work? Do you try to figure out these 'problems' when you start a model?
Or is this by trial and error that you learn to start correctly with a model?

yep

A rough is also a good thing to figure-out the place for the birth of the blocks (or parts) before starting.

Same here from the other fromage head (kaaskop in Dutch)

, I use a rough based on a cube or other primitive often to learn how edge-flows will actually flow or how an operation affects the basic shape. Wim

How about The Netherlands, or Nederland, or Lage Landen...

But the French also do know a lot about Fromage...!

Seems nicer to talk here in English, than at least the handful of French here on the English forum can read us too!
