Very, very early stage in a seascape idea I have in mind. I want to also add "underwater" effects as going back to one of Mark Bremmers very early tutes in a creek. I have used the C6 Ocean with the DCG Terrain Tools---which I think need a bit more work on here. Many "funny" things have been happening getting to this point--Am I learning? Good fun anyway. |

What I like about this is that it looks like a picture from the arctic, the water looks like it is frozen over so the dolphin's fin would not make much sense sticking out of the water unless it is an ice breaker Last edited by crazy wabbit; 4th November 2007 at 15:24. |

Very allert. The Ocean does not react to the shader setting in the way I would normally expect. Part of why I have to go away and gnash my teeth, have a spell, working on this idea. I did have a a cube (water) to be the under the Ocean part. The renderings of that and the interreaction with the Ocean are, well, interesting. Will experiment more today. |

After several, sloooooow. test renders, here is the current version. Ocean.--Wind set at Y (90). Ticked--waves follow wind, Transperency increased to 75,reflection reduced by half. Surf set to a quarter of original. Foreground Rock. Added displacement (in tab) The background island, for interest, utilises the exact same .jpeg as the foreground "Rock"! The Ocean is good but I wonder if any features and benefits over the Enhance C/Terrain Tools plugins from DCG? Enough for today I think. |
