Princess Cut

Hello all , hope all is well . This pic was modeled in Hexagon and rendered in Carrara 5 pro , Caustics and HDRI were used , thanks for the freebee HDRI map Thomas.

As usual it's a very good job with very good texture. IMHO you should use a real photo realistic rendering engine (Maxwell or whatever) as this quality or artwork deserves the best

Hey guys , again thanks . The shader for the gems itself is off the diamond preset in the shader menu pretty simple . actually the choice of the right HDRI map was more of an issue than anything , this map had tones of light blue which made the rocks have a brilliant show case glow , no lights were used in the scene just straight HDRI !
