I like the moi model better than the render - I think the material you've added takes away from the model and would look better simpler ?

I agree with are 100% Try a simple matte plastic material instead of scorched earth shader

that's how the rough nugget comes out from the mouse mine. after polishing, it would look more like the smooth plastic mouse on your desktop...
