...Hexagon 2.1
Its export displacement map function was NOOOOOOOT good
I couldnt use that. so Im remaking the sculpting by mudbox trial version.

It is easy to use and easy to understand better than Zbrush.
but I think Zbrush is more comfortable if Im skillful.

It appears that DAZ products (and those that it upgrades) have to be installed in the default location - ie: in the program files folder on the c drive.
It seems silly, but apparently they do not offer a workaround to this.
This may not be the problem, but I have seen it before.
So - if you want to upgrade to 2.2, you may try putting your old Hexagon into the program files default location...

I think the Frog Boss is cool.
To match his clothing, I think he needs no hat - hats sometimes cover up facial details - if he has a hat, one like an old time detective hat - like Humphrey Bogart would wear.

Something to think about: The pants folds are great.. you might consider having his shirt folds done in a similar way - dropping straight from his shoulder on his arm for instance.

Looking for the next part of this one...

i had the same problems with hex, but be carefull before you finish your disp, test mudbox export before! if the uvs arent clean enouth, mudbox will make lot of errors, the must simple is to edit the disp map in photoshop!

carefull again, only photoshop CS1 or more can open 16bits displace map!

mudbox is a great soft! as powerfull as Zbrush for displacement! i think better because the interface is great and more simple! i hope Mudbox cant male mesh paint in the furture version!

sorry for my english, im not sure to be clear!

Finally, my man come to the 3ds Max!

Yes, Mudbox is very good! I want to buy

that head UV was not so good, so I exported Level5 geometry
it is easy but it is very heavy in the 3ds max

But shirts and pants was pretty good, UV was good either

Then modeling was complete expect the shoes.

Bye

Looking great so far !!! Can Mudbox bake a displacement or normal map from the sculpted mesh onto the low-poly mesh? ZBrush and Modo can both do this. I think Mudbox might have a similar feature? Then you could import the level 0 to Max and just use a displacement texture...

shorty

Wow this looks awesome!
But the texture of the trousers looks eye-irritating... you might probably change it a little...?

I think the pants should be tweed or houndstooth. BUT if you keep what you have it will look much better after you add bump. so we can wait and see how that turns out

the skin is OK. the white highlights are a little much, and he looks a little pink. but it's coming along nicely
shoes look pretty good, but the heel looks way too small.

the suspenders look good too

I like the skin!
And I think for a mixture of a human and a frog the shoes have a good length. The hands are more human than frog like, too... so why should he have just frog feet and not a mixture?

>rickei

you watched this image very sencitive! and I know the shoes problem
I will modify.

and about the pants texture. it was attached the bump a little. Bump was
not good so much. and why I attached the pattern has a reason.

His clothes' model is what my favorite singer puts on her PV.
so, I will going on

>JuST
Hello, thank you comment

Why he is mixed a human and a frog, because that is the
my homework from my university.
[Make the frog charactor] this is the homework subject.

And about his shoes. He lives in nomal life as a human.
and he like trip, so he puts on the shoes.

that's why he is mixed. I apologize for reason was very cheap

i don't think he is by himself. I imagine it's the 1920's and he just paid a visit to a guy who owed money to the boss. And that guy is now inside the box... Damn, he looks like one tough gangster frog to me
