Did you see the request for the three background drawings?

Very impressive, The rendering looks very clean, maybe the ears can have a bit of Transparency with absorption, is that the one?

Here are the three views for backdrop images MicMac. The first time I modeled it without references then rendered toon versions of that to get backdrops. Then remodeled and caught the timelapse shots from that.

If anyone makes a rat post the results so we can all see

I'll go ever how I did the hair as well in a little while once I get it nailed down.

behzad - I am working on the fine ear hair now, then I'll add a little SSS to them, that should help.

Thanks a lot Grendal, this is great!

I combined your two gif files into one QT movie.
In that way I can start and stop at will.

Heart

Why not have a rat challenge in the challenges forum.
I am sure your planning to put bones in them too and pose it with some scene in a kitchen?
That would be way cool.

No personal work for awhile I'm afraid. I changed departments from operations to engineering in my company and started using Solidworks since they found out I can model. Now it's allot of pre-vis and design for three new fifth generation drilling rigs we are building in Singapore and China.

The fun has left the building for awhile at least. I prefer going back and forth between mechanical/work related models and organic stuff but that's going to be on hold for now.

that's too bad. I am in similar position under too much workload, and i expect to have no time for much personal work for quite a long time. And i had some very interesting projects bouncing around my mind...
