| Hex/Kerkythea O'er I've smashed the mesh - WIP
Well I've started on my forth model. Being a bit more careful now, but having seen the results perhaps not careful enough. Fig 1 shows a top elevation of the basic framework. Fig 2 side elevation, well sort of. I then did a trial conversion and squirted it into Terragon TG2 just to see. OK, more or less what I am aiming at. Never claimed any talent. see Fig 3. But then I decided to repeat the exercise in Kerkythea. Whoops! something not quite right. see Fig 4. I dropped in the bit map of the moon to give a better sillouette. So, if it was the model I would have thought that it would have blown apart in Terragon as it also alters everything into triangles the same as Kerkythea. Any suggestions please?

Hmmm. Try exporting it as a .obj file. The triangulation is because terragen works in triangles, and the model is made some other way (NURBS? I don't recognise the modeller, guessing Hex).

However, further examination of the mesh revealed too many odd faces. So I've started again.
