Narrow Escape

Well wanted to make a dramatic pic using the mini sub I made for the renderosity Wings challenge. So had to make a sea creature for it made one similar to a basilosaurus and a few other elements together. Keep is simple. All models made by me in Wings 3D and render in PMG Messiah.

Trying to go for a graphic novel or pulp cover. the mini sub is based on a Jonny quest Mini sub.

Actually based on a large primitive carnivorous whale. I flipped the tail around though it is verticle instead of horizontal. If you want to google the critter that provided most of the inspritation here is the name basilosaurus.

Here is a bit about it I did change it and got some other inspiration ichyasaurs and sperm whales. http://www.bbc.co.uk/science/seamons...losaurus.shtml

The poses of the shark & the boat direction are all cool.

The shark is cool for the style you are conveying too :D

I have one suggestion though, I personally feels that the boat is too bright, you know those sea movies ?

The boats looks desaturated in colour and dark firstly because of the dirt of the water and also the water also block out sunlight to a certain degree :D

Look forward to more update Dann-O :D
