That's a great way to avoid modeling a head!

Can you share a few modeling techniques? Did you model the helmet as a surface and then added thickness? How did you cut the breathing holes?

EricD- Yes I use a Geodesic Sphere
split in Half and extrude the bottom part
bevel the parts of the hole and delete the center
and use the thickness.
I hope your undestand my Poor english.

It's not that poor! Actually it's easier to understand because you use short, simple sentences.
