There are a few books you could try but I don't know of any tutorials. The bird looks good to me.

One book to try is the Animator's Handbook (I think that's what its called...maybe workbook instead of handbook). It has a page featuring the flight of a bird which you could adapt into 3D animation. If you can get your hands on the Disney Animation Studio, the manual has a similar example and there's even an animation you can take apart and look at. Keep in mind though that the Disney Animation Studio is ancient software (ie. DOS) you may not even be able to run it on today's computers.

Hi!

The animation looks good. A few tricks to boost the credability.
try to put some moore weight on your bird. By pressing the body down every time the feet doesn´t tuch the ground. And also a tiny push up at every kick-off from the ground.

The head should go oposite of the body, when body goes down, head goes up. Its like a heavy ball in the end of a long stick.

God luck!

keep on working on the model. Learning the displacement tools now. Does anyone know if I would be able to take him to carrara 4 pro? the subdivision is in 4 and I want to do the same animation as before. The other bird was made to be a poser figure, I animated him in poser and then took it to carrara.
