Marathon man

As stated in earlier post the original was a painting the was slightly dammaged with watermarks and aging from being in storage for a few years . I introduced a digital home photo copy of the dammaged painting into a early version of painter i think they called it "Procreate" back then if my memory serves me right , and proceeded to fix the dammaged goods using color correction and smoothing brush and adding more detail and flowing movment !The screen shot shows how the distortion that was created thru Corel 12 in a more recent version, if you can see in the objects file on the right of the screen shot i chose the back ground it's self and leaveing all other objects or incedents untouched by this effect and added the distortion tool to achieve that slightly twisted look leaving all the other objects to deal with after the distortion later on. later i added a 3-D adjusting tool that comes with Corell 12 to accent some of the highlighting . The other image is the raw product to give an idea what it is ! I will try to take another digital photo of the original so it might give one an idea on how to manipulate ones hand made artwork.

Cool picture! I see you are using Corel Photopaint 12? I use version 9... Has it changed much to this version? It looks almost the same!
