I thought of getting some comments on my new homepage design and perhaps some of you want to post your own HP designs, too?

reading manga right to left in western languages, that always throws me off,
it's ok when it's Japanese, but then you write vertically too.
Wow, I just read the first strip of Doraemon, and it was actually left to right oriented,
with vertical writing, that was definitely weird (vertical writing starts at top right and goes to bottom left, so you end up reading in the opposite direction from the frame progression - this is why having right to left progression in a left to right written language is problematic)... ;)

Oh, and "Nanu?" is that supposed to be "Nani?"

Yes, www.just-art.de is the right link.
Reading a manga that way might be a little harder than the other way around..., but most mangas you can buy here in germany are written that way... so this is the reason why I did so, too.
Nevertheless I feel a little bit ashamed that you had a look on it... In my opinion it is not so well done.

Edit: no, "nanu" is a word to show that someone is puzzled.

A German word?
Couldn't find it in the dictionary.
If it's supposed to be Japanese, then I think it's "nani", which means "what".
Anyway, the reason they are right to left oriented is because most manga is Japanese, and reorienting them wouldn't work (you can try, but it's very difficult), so when they are translated they stay that way.
I think your manga is fine, it's a bit rough, but that's its style.

I'm working on a translation into english at the moment, but unfortunately this will take some time until it is finished.
