More 2D

For the bird I tried to capture the details of my bird. Not much to say, except that that is his bare neck, he pulls his feathers , but still cute with bare neck and all. Used conte crayon and blending stump also prisma color pencils.

For the man, I tried to duplicate the exact shadow as on the picture ref. used those especial pencils, (H, HB, B...) and a blending stump. Not finished.

Eww, that bare neck is somehow very eery...
I like the arrows and the leaves in the drawing of the man, they add a nice touch to an otherwise kind of boring picture.
Don't get me wrong, the drawing is well drawn, but a profile picture of a man isn't all that interesting.

thanks for the comment I think
I may add color color to the leaves, but I'm not sure if I should add color to the man. what do you think?

I think the whole thing should stay B&W, looks good that way,
but you could try photoshopping it, or similar to test how colors would work.

Pretty busy this summer with an internship in NYC, so I decided to posted some school illustrations from the fall semester.

some work I did in my illustration class

pick two famous people with same name (last or first) and combine them.

Self-portrait, well kind off, I don't have big teeth.
Pick a one of your childhood cartoons (Ren and Stimpy) and draw yourself as a character.
You might remember, when they did still close-up on a pimple or or something distrubing.
