Some 2D-from me

My newest 2d-work... what do you think about it?
Edit: I should say that this is an underwater picture... just in case one does not notice the swimming person!^^

Thank you both very much!
I've done this with Gimp, so the water-effect is done with a brush. I wanted to create the feel that one can almost see that the water above is not too calm, but nevertheless shiny and reflecting the sun.

This reminds me of Another World, when you swim out of the lake in the very beginning of the game.
Did you make a pattern or a brush for the reflections at the top?
Or did you clone or something?

Anyway, I really like this one, kind of cool with the duplicated layers in the bottom, makes it seem very dark and fuzzy(not a good kind of fuzzy, but like static on a tv).
Is this your new wallpaper, or did you make it for someone else?

Thanks for your kind words
The reflections on the top were made with a Gimp brushset (for abstract lines) I downloaded at deviantart. IMHO they have the greatest collection of brushes etc for Gimp.
With the layers at the bottom I tried to achieve the blurry effect one gets, when opening the eyes under water.

Sardtok, you're right. I did this picture as a wallpaper for my desktop.
I started to play around in Gimp, just to test my skills and for some reason this picture came into my mind.
