How Do You Make a Photo Montage?

Hello,

I see photo montages on YouTube all the time set to songs, and I really want to make one, but I'm not sure how. The only free montage or slideshow sites I've found online won't let you use a song of your choice. How do you do it? Do you need a special program?

Windows and MacOSX (depending of your system) have such software to do that (iMovie or Movie Maker if i'm not wrong). Some CD burning software have also such software. It's preaty easy to produce
