| Importing Image window view
Hi all, Can someone please tell me how I can do this and what modeling apps are suitable at the moment I've been looking at hexagon. I am new to modeling and I don't know the correct term to use, however this is what I would like to do. I want to upload an image to a modeling app so that I can see a front and side view of my sketch as a base to work from. Similar to this http://www.vimeo.com/1048354 Many thanks |

Hey DeeDee welcome to the world of 3D Most any 3D modeler will do reference images. Hex lets you put a reference image on all 3 planes (X,Y,Z) Here is some Hexagon stuff http://forums.polyloop.net/hexagon-t...html#post87149 http://forums.polyloop.net/hexagon-t...tml#post124640 http://forums.polyloop.net/3d-work-p...tml#post161075 you can also put a reference image on a plane, and model that way |
