Thanks for the suggestions. I tried Num Lock and Caps Lock, no difference. A re-install of the operating system gives me the willies... I can see that turning into an 8-hour job. Maybe as a last resort, but not now.

It's relatively easy to work around this issue in the Assemble and Model room - I can always click on the 2D zoom button and pick a zoom level. Where it is particularly aggravating is in the timeline, where I am unable to find a way to zoom out except the mouse. If I zoom into the timeline, the only way I can figure out how to zoom back out is to quit Carrara and re-start. Not exactly an elegant solution.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
