Hello, I'm posting a new 'thread', aldough I was asked to send a 'first post'. But I can't seem to find why and how I should do the latter using this site...
In print I'm a pro, in 3D a virgin
. I got Carrara 5 pro for free through an issue of 3D World, but that's as far as I got.
I hope somebody can tell me what the not-to-expensive, not-to-difficult entrance way into 3D can be.
My final goal in 3D (amongst others): designing originals in 3D for the semi-pro production (through rapid prototyping) of eg. historic buildings in n-scale... probably a long way still to go !
