Yes, you can product custom HDRI environment maps with the Pro and Studio editions of Genetica 3.0. You can get a little taste of the feature at a about one-and-a-half minutes into the video that I posted above. Beyond what you can see in the video, you can do things like:

- Layer HDRI environments on top of each other with the type of blends you'd see in a photo-editing app.

- Rotate, color, filter each of the layers.

- Generate additional lights and effects and blend them in.

- Import any of your own HDRIs you may have to throw into the mix.

- Bake lighting effects straight into the HDRI itself (used often in real-time projects like games, but is useful for doing neat things quickly in any environment). For you example, you can diffuse the environment map (makes speedy shiny surfaces look like diffuse surfaces lit by global illumination) and you can do light scattering effects (makes surfaces look like they are partially reflecting the HDRI).

- Export your original HDRI creations in common formats such as latitude/longitude maps and cube maps.

- HDRI environment manipulating nodes are also given in which case you want to dig deeper and build custom node trees that will generate and filter HDRI environments in totally unique ways.
