I use Acrobat 3d v.8 for this type of thing, before I moved into our eng dept they would try to send parasolids to convey equipment but the file sizes can get very large. I'm able to export from Solidworks directly via Catia(.cgr)and still maintain all my CAD data. This helps when designing equipment when vendors may be on another continent and the file size is acceptable. |
