Not sure what you mean "that box"?
If you do not have the browser plug in installed on your computer, you will probably just see a box when you open the linked page.
You have to go to the Viewpoint web site first (link is in first post) download and install the plug in so you can see the image on the page.
This allows the viewer of the web page to use his mouse to rotate the 3d model to any angle, zoom in, etc. If the model was a house with rooms (my sample is just an object) he could go inside the house.
I am working on a project for a client showing a golf green. The viewer can rotate around and zoom in to see all the elevations, bumps and angles of the green.
As far as the Carrara part - set up your model then click file/save as/Vet
