I need some help if anybody is willing. I've made a model out of nine parts, which although saved as separate elements does have some or all of the other eight parts hidden/frozen in the background. As you can imagine, the Mb's are going through the roof.
Although I have just under 850Mb's of free memory left. It appears that Hex 2.2 hiccoughs and freezes me out at or around 1.2Gb's. Obviously, I need to remove the shall I call them the ghost sections that are duplicated.
So, there are two main questions. Is there a relatively streamlined method of removing the ghost elements? At the moment I'm selecting each individual component that I don't require from the scene tree and deleting them, which sometimes needs more than one attempt.
The second question is that with one of a group selected and right clicked you are offered the choice up-to three in some cases of returning to root. Could any one clarify the difference and reason for selecting one or other of these?
I guess basically, that I'm looking for a method to highlight something unwanted in the scene tree and quickly delete it.
