Hi,

I'm a newbie and maybe this is a stupid question:

I need to map a world map as vector image to a sphere and don't know how it works (if it works)? - I want to use vectors, because I need a very wide zoom range in my animation later: Close to small countries and far away to see the whole earth.

Is this possible in Carrara6 Pro and if not are there any workarounds?

I tried using big pixel-images (more than 4000px of size) but I can see the pixels if zooming close.
