Yes, it's in the 3rd book of the trilogy
The Amber Spyglass. The
Golden Compass movie covered only about 80-90% of the first book. If they continue with the movie adaptations, this part won't be out for at least 2 or 3 years. But I wanted to try modeling it before the Hollywood artists so I wouldn't be influenced by their interpretation. Some features are very detailed in the book and others are very vague and open to interpretation.
