hi,

32bit xp afaik, can only access 2GB ram, there is something called the 3 gig switch, which allows it to access upto 3BG ram, but not all 4, only 64bit xp and vista can access 4GB or more...

i am running vista ultimate 64bit and have had very few problems with running software. i only have 1 driver that does not work, and i have a lot connected or installed on my computer, and the company do not make a vista 64 driver for the device.. so im dual booting with xp.

to me 64bit is the way to go, soon all pcs will have to be 64bit to keep up, xsi and lightwave have 64bit versions of their software as do a few others.

just my tuppence worth..
