Are we not getting a bit off-topic?

I thought this thread was about English participation being lost. Is this really the case and if so why?

If it is, then the only way for that to change is for English speakers to post more. My excuse is my job, but it shouldn't have stopped me posting, even if I had no work to show. I'm not going to let that happen again because I don't want to lose the English speaking side of this community.

My tuppence worth.
