Is there going to be a poll on this?
Seems that this is a private forum and can be directed and managed any way that suits the owner (as it should be).
I feel that there is bad blood and bad feelings against DAZ and some other software due to the history and treatment of certain people by companies controling the products. That is quite understandable, but unfortunate that it would affect the forum.
Perhaps in the beginning there may have been a sense of sponsorship of some software, but I don't think anyone ever considered that seriously.
Easy to say, hard to do, but it would be better for the users if the forum were unbiased (is it really) and did not have that cloud hanging over it.
Are the stats for Carrara users and Hexagon users really that much different than they were before - is it possible that the change was initiated by the issues that perhaps caused users to move away.
For myself, I had found this forum to be a better place for good tutorials and great talent using various software.
As for the French side... I just wish I could read and write French - I would be over there pestering them and soaking in the talent and info on that side too... I have no bias, only my ignorance is creating a barrier.
Of course... none of this is my business... maybe some of Stu's pain medicine would help.
