A discussion on the Rhino forum revealed some more information...
- The Japan release will be 21 January 2008 bundled with Rhino only.
- A demo-version will be available for download in January 2008, probably before the japanese release.
- The English PlugIn will be released end of March/beginning April 2008 as a sole Rhino PlugIn.
- Regarding the price, it is expected to be far more than the traditional Rhino render plugIns.
- The raytraced version will probably released in December 2008 with a different pricing.
- Hayabusa is primarily a decision making/evaluation tool using GPU with advanced shaders. Even without raytraced shadows, one can reach high-quality results by using selected HDRIs. Renderings from our HB case study including a full-modelled car-body to be published very soon.
