I'm hoping that I understand the section correctly - I can't believe that there are no Carrara threads at all and mine will be the first - wow!
The question:
I am not really wanting to do Carrara "hair" as hair, but rather as freshly
cut grass. I don't want the individual blades ("hairs") of grass to come to a point, but rather just be slightly tapered to a blunt (snipped-off) top edge.
As far as I can tell there is no way to control the
taper of the hair/grass. Is there a control for this?
This brings up another question - I will look at Digital Carver's guild to see if he has an "anything grows" (or whatever he called his hair grower plug-in) for Carrara 6. Would his plug-in offer finer control - such as taper - for the "hair"? I used the plug-in several years ago, but haven't kept up with the advancements.... anyway, I thought I would see if anyone had an opinion about the plug-in vs. the built-in.
