I'm working on a series of projects that will hopefully help finance my system upgrades, so all the data will be useful. It seems that the common factor I am seeing when I inquire of those using some heavy duty software making complex graphics is the use of mulit-core processors (duo and quad -core). My system is just a single core, so upgrading that along with better/faster bus will be a main focus.
I think I will stay with the 32 bit OS for now and see how the technology/stability issues shake out.
