The question was how good is modo as compared to Hex & Zbr. The only way I know to compare A and B is to do something both A and B can do.
All I know about Zbr is its ability to handle horrible number of polygons in a real time. Not "equivalents of" but real polys. Not only on videos, but on my computer also. I know also all those horribly dense meshes can be exported to displacement maps, and they were invented before modo came to stage.
All I know about modo 301 is it's cool on videos. But I also saw how smooth and fast is sculpt tool in modo 103 (on video came with modo 103 help).
For now I can only pray that all this 301 videos were made not on 8-way Apple Pro.
