There are no shadows at all in this dinkwad art.
Those are silouttes (can't spell french words) of other noisy people in the background. If I wuz doing shadows, the shapes of the characters would have shading (modeled). Something speedy deadline killed off.

This is a "family" publication... no unborn baby bellies or buttons...
nekkid wimmen is ok.
These kind of clients - well what can I say... the left hand and the right hand haven't even met each other... one person told me when it was needed and then later the production folks said no-way - hence rush that doodle along to make the cut (deadline).
Nothing new, believe me. I think we should send a team of mad artists to gaggle them, tar and feather, and other nice things.
then give them to the wabbit.
