If I draw on paper, I have to scan the drawing ( = more time)
If I draw on paper, I use tracing paper, move things around a lot to line up stuff.... on the computer, the layers are like tracing paper, i can copy and paste, clone, flip, drag, scale and distort ( = +++ lots more time on paper)
In a word - doing the whole thing on the computer is much faster and much more efficient.
Zoom-zoom-zoom (fast and speedy).
Oh... the ctrl-Z is the fastest eraser ever!!
On a rare occasion, while being a couch potato, I have my sketch pad at hand and do some idea scribbles... short notes on paper. I scan these in and develop them into final art on the computer - all for the same reasons mentioned above.
More coming... keep your eye on this thread... same bat-channel...
more instalments coming soon!
