That article is from a beta tester I think it reads.
I. No one as far as I know has suggested that PS3 will make 3D files.
2.My concern is about painting on a 3D object and having that painting applied to the 3D object back in your 3D programme. (Either retuning with the original 3D object or as a "painting" file for it)

The answer to both being yes.(If you read the full splurge of Adobes on all the products which make up a CS3 suite you will be quite amazed at the full extent of the interactions)

Deliveries are only a week or so away and all will be answered anyway.
