Think that WE: users and Thomas do not want to get sponspored .
Because sponsors could represent a permanent pressure (even friendly)..

It's very important to feel free. This forum belongs to Thomas as a private person, that's true but we can affirmate also that this forum is OURS and YOURS, If we donate, this forum will stay free of pressure of any kind.
(Even if we try to be and to stay "smart" )

Advertising is an other thing, and advertising is bound by limits in time..It's better.

This is just my personnal thoughts
