i have been interested in C4D for a while, but purchased Carrara earlier this year for a very low price. I thought C5P was able to import 3dm nurbs but in fact everything is meshed (quite inefficiently) while being imported, so i am considering C4D once again. My biggest concern is the ability to import Rhino 3dm files directly as Nurbs. Does anybody know if C4D XL can do this? Is there updateable file linking? I searched all morning online but can't find any news more recent than 2004.
