IMHO, 2D icons may be more easier to understand (and faster to do! It took me a lot of time to realise Hexagon ones...) but in C4D R10, You have too much style difference between the icons. Some are in full 2D, and other includes 3D content, not in the same style...
And i think I'll also switch to 2D icons in my next work...
